Blesma visits The Royal Ballet School

On Friday 4th November, our Upper School students received a visit from Simon Harmer, an ex-combat medic in the British Army who was speaking on behalf of Blesma, a charity that supports limbless and injured veterans for life.

He spoke about his experience in the British Army, working in combat areas such as Afghanistan where he suffered his life changing injuries in 2009. He explained the work of the charity and how it has enabled him to continue to recover and share his experience of life after a significant trauma.
