Video audition requirements

How to submit your video to The Royal Ballet School

The auditions team will need you to upload your video to a file sharing website and send them a link with the applicant’s details so they can watch it online, we regret that we no longer accept DVD disc applications. Videos should be no longer than 20 minutes.

There are several ways to do this – here are a couple of suggestions:

Dropbox

Login or create a free Dropbox account and click on the ‘upload file’ button. Once the video has uploaded, right click on it and opt to ‘share’. Then enter the auditions@royalballetschool.org.uk email address and in the ‘message’ box please clearly state the applicant’s full name and which course(s) they are applying for. The auditions team will then receive a link to be able to watch the video online privately.
Please note there is a 2GB limit for free Dropbox accounts.

Vimeo

Login or create a free Vimeo account and follow the site’s instructions to upload your video. Set the video to private using the ‘Only people with a password’ setting. Then find and copy the URL of the video, and send the link to auditions@royaballetschool.org.uk with the password details and the applicant’s full name and which course(s) they are applying for.

If you have any questions about any of the above please email our web team.
