Our core academic offer at the Upper School in Covent Garden is the BA(Hons) Degree in Classical Ballet and Dance Performance. In addition, from September 2021, we embarked on an exciting new project in which we offer a non-degree programme with a variety of online learning and on-site student supported study pathways.

We are seeking a Learning Manager to develop and manage this strand of our broader academic offer. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the wider academic team at the Upper School and will work with, and support, some of the most talented young dancers in the world.

The non-degree team will work closely together, and manage all aspects of the non-degree programme. The successful candidate will line manage one member of staff in their team, (their assistant). They are expected to collaborate with those teaching on the degree programme, EAL and SEND specialists where appropriate, and pastoral staff, in order to provide a complete academic support network for each student in their care.

The post holder will play a full and active role in the broader life of the School, pastorally and artistically.

Duration: Permanent starting Autumn term 2022

Hours: 0.5 FTE. Working hours are defined as 8.15am to 12.15pm Monday to Friday during term time.

Location: Covent Garden, London.  Please consider the travel requirements and lack of parking for workers in this area of London.

Salary: £39k-£44k (1.0 FTE; depending on skills and experience)
