The Royal Ballet School is one of the world’s greatest centres of classical ballet training. We are seeking two part-time cleaners on a fixed term basis to join our Operations Department and act as an integral part of the housekeeping team in helping to keep the School’s premises clean, tidy and safe for our students, staff and visitors all times.
You will maintain a high standard of cleaning in all areas of the boarding houses, toilets and bathrooms as required, ensure all cleaning is carried out using only the products and methods approved by the School, and carry out deep cleaning as and when needed.
You must be aware and keep updated on Health and Safety, including knowledge of COSSH, with demonstrable experience of cleaning commercially or domestically. We are looking for people with initiative, and the ability to work alone as well as with others, showing patience, compassion and a positive attitude. Enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking, you take pride in the work that you do, are eager to learn and are able to follow written and verbal instruction and learn.
Duration: Fixed-term until August 2021, term time only.
Role 1 (White Lodge):
We are seeking a housekeeping assistant/cleaner to work Saturday and Sunday on a fixed-term basis for one school year mainly at our White Lodge, Richmond Park site. Due to the remote nature of the site, own transport is required, as is flexibility to travel to our central London sites.
Role 2 (Floral Street, Covent Garden):
We are seeking a housekeeping assistant/cleaner to work Saturday and Sunday on a fixed-term basis for one school year, mainly at our Covent Garden site. Flexibility to travel to our other central London sites is required, as well as to our White Lodge site in Richmond Park, south-west London.
We also have boarding houses in Pimlico and Covent Garden, London, and all post-holders are required to be flexible and able to cover all sites if required.
