Nali dobrin

Nali Dobrin is 15 years old and has been a student of The Floria Capsali Choreography High School in Bucharest since she was ten years old.

In 2019, Nali was awarded 1st place in the pre-competitive category at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Barcelona; 1st place ballet and contemporary at Tanzolymp in the junior category in 2020; and in 2021 and 2022, won the Youth Grand Prix Trophy at the YAGP International virtual semi-final. She also won 1st place at the YAGP Tampa final in her contemporary duet, and 1st in ballet and 2nd in contemporary at the 2023 Verona semi-final.

Nali was invited to dance her contemporary solo at the YAGP Nervi Gala in 2022, and in 2023, she was invited to perform in Italy at the International Summer School Volta Mantovana Gala.

Nali won 1st place at the Romanian Ballet Olympiad with a maximum score of 100 points in 2022, and this year will participate in the Prix de Lausanne competition, being one of the four candidates preselected.

Nali has also been awarded several scholarships to prestigious ballet schools and institutions, including John Cranko School, Princess Grace Academy, Tanz Akademie Zürich, Vaganova Academy, and The Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive.

On being named a Royal Ballet School International Scholar, Nali said:

It is a dream come true to be a student at The Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden. I am extremely happy that I was offered this international scholarship; thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity.
