Yaïza llort ferreira

Yaïza is 11 years old and began dancing at the age of three at Forum Licano Dance Company. At the age of seven, she moved to Jove Ballet de Catalunya before attending Ballet Ruso Barcelona and Yerakhavets Ballet Academy.

Yaïza won her first competition at the age of six in the 2019 Dance World Cup in Spain. In 2021, she earned a gold medal at the Premis Coreogràfics competition. In 2022, she secured a silver medal in the contemporary category at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and was named the best mini soloist by the Dance World Cup Spain competition.

At the Concurso de Danza Vaslav Nijinsky, she won gold in both classical and neoclassical categories. In December 2022, she achieved third place in the YAGP semifinal classical category and was selected for the final in Tampa.

Yaïza placed 1st in pre-professional duos and third place in pre-professional classical at the Élancé Concurs de Dansa Vila de Blanes. In 2023, she achieved second place in the pre-competitive classical category in YGP Verona and third place in the pas de deux category.

On being named a Royal Ballet School International Scholar, Yaïza said:
