Tom Clementi

Tom Clementi, an experienced financial services executive, joined the Board of The Royal Ballet School in October 2018.

Tom was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Pool Re, the UK’s Government-backed terrorism reinsurer, in April 2022. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of MS Amlin, a Lloyd’s underwriting business, where he spent 13 years in various management roles.

Tom began his career as a solicitor at Linklaters. He has an MBA from INSEAD business school and a degree from Oxford University.

In December 2023, he was appointed as a Director of the Association of Chief Executives (ACE). He served as a Director of the Lloyd’s Market Association from 2017-2020 and a Common Councillor in the City of London from 2017-2022. He currently serves as a member of the National Preparedness Commission, the CBI’s Financial Services Council, and the OECD’s High Level Advisory Board on Catastrophic Risks.
