We are looking for talented young dancers with a passion for classical ballet

Auditions for entry into The Royal Ballet School are held at venues across the UK.  Preliminary auditions for full-time students are also the sole audition for Mid and Senior Associates and are held in the Spring term, applications available September-November. Junior Associate auditions are held in the Summer term, applications available January-March.  All auditions are for courses which start the following September.

All applications received by the closing date are offered an audition class at their selected venue. There is no pre-selection for preliminary/associate auditions - all applicants are offered an audition class provided they are within the age-range for the course applied for. Applicants for both our full-time and associate courses usually audition with each other in age appropriate classes which last 1¼ to 1½ hours. Details of the audition class allocated will be emailed to applicants in December.

Please note, Summer School applicants are not required to audition as this selection is made exclusively from applications and photos received.
