Associate Insight classes
For young dancers considering joining our Junior, Mid or Senior Associate programmes, our Associate Insight events provide an opportunity to experience a typical Associate class.
We hold Insight classes for our Junior Associate programme in London and at our regional centres, and for our Mid and Senior Associate programmes at The Royal Ballet School in London.
This year, we are bringing back our Teacher Observation programme, a unique opportunity for dance teachers to observe The Royal Ballet School Artistic staff teaching class.
Course structure
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Associate-style class, followed by a 15-minute Q&A
Eligibility
For academic year 2024/25:
Junior Associates
Students aged 8 to 10 by 31 August 2025 (in school years 3, 4 and 5)
Mid Associates
Students aged 11 to 13 by 31 August 2025 (in school years 6 to 8)
Senior Associates
Students aged 14 to 15 by 31 August 2025 (in school years 9 and 10)
Fees
£35 per Insight class for one child and one adult
£25 per teacher for Teacher Observation Programme
