Year 11 Celebration Day 2017

On Friday 23 June 2017, parents, family and friends gathered at White Lodge to celebrate the many wonderful achievements of our Year 11 students.

The day started with performances from the students showcasing a breadth of dances from Here We Come, choreographed by Erik Bruhn, to Romeo & Juliet – Dance of the Knights from Act 1 Ballroom Scene, choreographed by Sir Kenneth MacMillan. After this, parents and students heard from our Head Girl and Boy, Lucy Waine and Louis Scrivener, as well as our Artistic Director, Christopher Powney. There was then a chance to enjoy an exhibition of GCSE art work before the presentation of certificates on the Salon steps. Finally, everyone had a chance to take lots photographs and enjoy the glorious sunshine.

Thank you to all of the staff and students who helped create such a special event and good luck to our Year 11 students as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
