Spencer Collins

Twelve-year-old Los Angeles native, Spencer Collins, started dancing at the Los Angeles Ballet School at age five. He joined Westside School of Ballet at age nine and trains there with Adrian Blake Mitchell. Spencer has performed the soloist roles of the Soldier Doll and Russian in Westside Ballet’s The Nutcracker.
Spencer most recently won the venerable Hope Award at YAGP 2025 Finals, which recognised his top classical and contemporary performances among all dancers worldwide in the pre-competitive age category. He also won first place in both the classical and contemporary categories at YAGP 2024 Finals, along with Hope Awards at two prior Los Angeles YAGP Semi-Finals. Spencer is an International Scholar of The Royal Ballet School, and has received scholarships and trained with renowned dance academies around the world, including the Princess Grace Academie of Danse in Monaco, the John Cranko School, Joffrey Ballet, Elite Classical Coaching, The Royal Ballet School and Ellison Ballet School. He hopes to one day become a principal dancer with a premier ballet company.
