Celebrating one year of Digital Members, what our Members had to say
Last year, we launched our Digital Members programme to broaden access to the ways our supporters can be involved in the School. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed Members from over 15 countries and held three online events at White Lodge and Upper School, bringing them closer than ever to our students’ exciting journeys.
Membership fees go towards the School’s General Fund, which meets the core costs of running the School. This includes the running of state-of-the-art studios, facilities and accommodation, funding for healthcare provision, salaries for teachers and other expert staff and maintaining the School’s historic buildings.
We sent out a survey to our current group of over 100 Digital Members to get their thoughts on their past year as a member. Here’s what they had to say about being part of the Digital Member community:
This year’s online events
Our Members got to participate in three online events. We started the year off with an exclusive look into an Upper School ladies’ ballet class. Members got to see Sarah Kundi, former First Artist with English National Ballet, teach our students. Here’s what members had to say:
Following on from the ballet class, Members got exclusive access to our students at White Lodge rehearse for our Ursula Moreton Emerging Choreographer Event. Named in honour of one of Dame Ninette de Valois’ most constant colleagues and assistants and the School’s Ballet Principal and then Director, the event is a presentation of choreographic work by the School’s youngest students at White Lodge.
