Sylvie Win Szyndlar

Sylvie Win Szyndlar, who goes by Sylvie Win, has had a passion for dance from a very young age. She began by drawing inspiration from her sister Ellary Day, who is currently studying ballet in New York City. Sylvie Win has developed as a dancer through numerous national and international training opportunities and competitions. She is currently training at Master Ballet Academy in the United States of America.
Sylvie Win has been honoured to be invited as a soloist to perform in numerous galas around the world, including OnDance Festival with Roberto Bolle in Milan, Italy; Stars of Ballet Gala in Lake Como, Italy; YAGP’s Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow Galas in Tampa, Florida and New York, New York; YAGP’s Gala with the Nervi Festival in Nervi, Italy; and Gala de Danza in Cairo, Egypt.
Sylvie Win has been honoured to receive multiple awards for both her classical and contemporary dancing, winning the 2025 YAGP World Finals Gold Medal for Contemporary and Silver Medal for Classical, the 2026 YGP Hope Award in Paris, the 2025 YAGP Hope Award in California, and The Dance Awards Best Dancer Winner in 2024 and the National 1st Place Champion in 2024, 2023, and 2022.
Sylvie Win has attended summer intensives and other training opportunities at The Royal Ballet School, Académie Princesse Grace, and American Ballet Theatre JKO School. Her dancing has been recognised by these and several other prestigious schools, allowing her to be generously given scholarships from The Royal Ballet School, Academie Princesse Grace, John Cranko School, Alberta Ballet School, Colorado Ballet Academy, Nashville Ballet School, BalletMet, Next Generation Ballet, Angel Shine Foundation, International Contemporary Masters of Dance, and YGP Dance Lab.
On being named a Royal Ballet School International Scholar:
