No potential student should be deterred from applying to The Royal Ballet School due to lack of financial means. The Associate Programme is generously supported by the Leverhulme Foundation, the J Edward Conway Fund and the Hine’s Fund to offer means tested financial support for course fees and uniform costs. The School is currently able to offer means tested support to qualifying families. For households with a gross income under £47,000, awards ranging from 10-90% are available for those who fulfil the criteria.
When is the closing date for financial assistance?
The closing date for applications is 31 July 2018.
What happens if my circumstances have changed after the close date for financial assistance?
If you experience difficulties paying the fees or if your financial circumstances change significantly please contact the Associate or Finance team to discuss the situation. We may be able to help if we are aware you are having problems.
I was eligible for Financial Assistance last academic year, do I need to apply again?
Parents or guardians must apply for financial assistance each academic year.
How and when can I apply for financial support?
Once a student has been successfully offered a place on one of our Associate courses. Declaration of income application forms can be downloaded using the link below.
What evidence do I need to send with my application?
• March 2018 payslip
• P11D (if applicable)
• Self-assessment tax return 2017-18 or a copy of your business accounts.
If divorced or legally separated:
• Statuary child maintenance
• Benefits correspondence
• Any other evidence of income as required
