No potential student should be deterred from applying to The Royal Ballet School due to lack of financial means. The Associate Programme is generously supported by donors to offer means tested financial support for course fees and uniform costs to qualifying families. For households with a gross income under £50,000, fee support of 10% to 90% are available.
When is the closing date for financial assistance?
The closing date for applications is 31 August 2019.
What happens if my circumstances have changed after the close date for financial assistance?
If your financial circumstances change during the year please contact the Finance team to discuss matters further. We may be able to help if we are aware of the situation. All conversations with the Finance Team are strictly confidential.
I was eligible for Financial Assistance last academic year, do I need to apply again?
Please note parents or guardians must apply for financial assistance each year and supply the new supporting documents relevant for that year’s application.
How and when can I apply for financial support?
Once a student has been successfully offered a place on one of our Associate courses. Declaration of income application forms can be downloaded using the link below.
What evidence do I need to send with my application?
• March 2019 payslip
• P11D (if applicable)
• Self-assessment tax return 2018-19 or a copy of your business accounts.
If divorced or legally separated:
• Statuary child maintenance
• Benefits correspondence
• Any other evidence of income as required
