Safer recruitment and equality
Safer recruitment
Fairness and equality underpins our recruitment procedure, as such we aim to ensure that:
- the best possible staff are recruited on the basis of their merits, abilities and suitability for the position
- all job applicants are considered equally and consistently
- no job applicant is treated unfairly or discriminated against for any reason
- we comply with all relevant recruitment and safeguarding legislation
Further information can be found in our Safer Recruitment Policy and Equality Policy.
Safeguarding and child protection
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expect all staff to share this commitment.
As such, all employees must undergo pre-employment checks which are in compliance with all relevant legislation, recommendations and guidance.
Training in safeguarding and child protection is an important part of the induction process, and every new member of Staff receives training which is regularly updated to ensure we maintain a safe, supportive and secure environment in which our students can thrive.
