Audition Insight classes
Our non-selective Audition Insight classes are an opportunity for dancers who have applied or are considering applying for a place on our training programmes to learn more about the audition and the School.
At an Insight class, dancers can experience what it’s like to take part in a Royal Ballet School audition and find out what the School is looking for from auditionees in a relaxed, informal environment.
These Insight classes are relevant for auditions for full-time training at White Lodge and Upper School, as well as the Mid, Senior and Advanced Associate Programmes.

Requirements
This is a non-selective opportunity and there are no requirements to attend. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Class structure
Duration: 1.5 hours
Students will participate in an age-appropriate mock audition. The teacher will explain what to expect at the audition and what the panel will look for.
Classes are divided into age groups for students aged 11, aged 12-13, aged 14-15, and aged 16+. Students should take the class for their age on 31 August 2026.
