Senior Associate Short Course

Senior associate students in the studio

Our Senior Associate Short Course in Leeds is for girls and boys aged 14-15 who wish to take class with The Royal Ballet School, alongside their regular ballet classes.

Our Senior Associate Short Course is for pupils in School Years 10 and 11. The course runs on six Sundays across the academic year, with two classes per term.

Each class will be taught by a Royal Ballet School Associate Teacher and will be three hours in duration. Classes will include ballet body conditioning exercises and a full ballet class, including pointework for female students.

The course is based at Yorkshire Dance, the School’s existing Associate Centre in Leeds. Depending on interest, this pilot project may develop into a new Senior Associate centre in the north of England.
