The Royal Ballet School’s Christmas gift guide 2023
December has arrived which means if you haven’t already, it’s time to start your Christmas shopping! At The Royal Ballet School, we love the festive season and have plenty of fabulous gift ideas for you and your loved ones to help make your Christmas extra special.
Christmas cards
Our Christmas cards are the perfect way to send season’s greetings to all your family and friends. Featuring our historic White Lodge grounds and our Upper School site in Floral Street, Covent Garden, these unique cards are sure to delight any recipient.
Ballet baubles
Decorate your tree with our stunning baubles, depicting golden silhouettes of two of our alumni dancing a pas de deux from Paquita. These intricate ornaments would make a charming present or add a beautiful touch to your own Christmas display.
Gorgeous gifts
Our online and in-person shop is full of fantastic gifts for any ballet fan. Whether you’re looking for dancewear, healthcare equipment, clothing, or accessories, we have a wide selection of high-quality items for you to choose from.
Treasured training at our Winter Intensives
If you know someone who is itching to train with us, why not buy them one of our classes for 2024? Our non-selective one-day Winter Intensive courses are open for booking and are the ideal present for any budding dancer. You can download our gift certificate to give to your lucky recipient on Christmas Day.
Invaluable online classes
We have a variety of Intensive Courses on Demand classes, all of which would make a wonderful Christmas surprise. We have classes covering a range of disciplines that are available for different age groups and levels of experience.
Christmas in Covent Garden
There’s nowhere more magical than Covent Garden at Christmas. Treat someone you love to a day out in Central London, where you can enjoy the dazzling light display whilst indulging in mince pies and mulled wine. You can pass by the School while you’re here and spot our iconic Bridge of Aspiration.
Festive favourites
The Royal Opera House will be abuzz throughout December as they host their annual run of The Nutcracker. It’s a mesmerising show for all ages and you’ll get to see lots of our talented students and alumni grace the stage. Tickets are almost all gone but don’t worry if you don’t manage to book: The Nutcracker will be playing live in cinemas so you don’t miss out.
Generous giving
Christmas is a time for generosity and as a charity, we rely on the support of our community. If you’re in the spirit of Christmas giving this year, become a Member or Young Member and give our young dancers the most valuable gift of all. You’ll gain an amazing variety of benefits throughout the year to thank you for your support.
