Special screening of The Nutcracker for Royal Ballet School Associates in Bath
On Saturday 7 January we held a special screening of The Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker at Victoria Hall, Radstock, the location of our Associate centre in Bath. Around 60 people attended the screening, made up of Junior and Mid Associates, along with their parents, to watch the 2015 recording of this timeless Christmas classic.
This is the first time we have held a screening for Associate students and it was a great success. It allowed our youngest dancers to witness ballet on the Opera House stage, to understand what they may be aiming towards in the future. It was also a great opportunity for our dancers to socialise outside their regular ballet class.
The next Associate screening will be held in February for Totnes Associates, at Dartington Hall in Devon.
We would like to thank the Royal Opera House for their support in the organisation of the event and a big thank you to Victoria Hall who enabled us to hold the screening at their venue.
