Students can select either a non-residential or residential place.

Please note that the residential option is only available for students 16-17 years of age. Accommodation will be at Aud Jebsen Hall which includes all meals. Check in will be on Sunday 3 April 2022.

Course structure

An exciting opportunity for dance students, this course focuses on the unique stylistic qualities and context of the Romantic Ballet period. The five-day course will include lectures and practical workshops focusing on the ballet Giselle (1841).

Each day will commence with contextual studies and include a ballet technique class and creative practice, highlighting the contextual material explored throughout the course.

This course will also appeal to A Level, BTEC and Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) students who are studying or may wish to focus their project on ballet.

The programme will run from 10.00-16.30 each day. All classes will be taught by ballet and creative dance specialists.

Can’t make it to our Intensive Course at Upper School? Join us online!

Our non-selective Online Spring Intensive 2021 will be delivered virtually from our studios at White Lodge. Classes will be taught and accompanied by our artistic faculty. The classes will be offered to dance students aged 11-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-19+ years. Adult classes will also be included in the programme. Further detail will be released in the New Year and bookings will open shortly before the course dates: 4-8 April 2022.
