Minji Gu
Minji started ballet at the age of seven, gained a lot of experience participating in competitions from the age of nine, and won a high-grade award.
In 2022, Minji gained several ballet awards including the grand prize for the whole elementary school division at the Korea Union or Art & Culture Education, 2nd place in ballet and 1st place in modern dance at YAGP Korea, 2nd place in ballet and 2nd place in modern dance at Tanz Olymp Asia, and 1st place at the World Ballet Grand Prix.
Minji will advance to the finals at YAGP and attend the final in Tampa on April 3, 2023.
On being named a Royal Ballet School International Scholar, Minji said:
‘I am very grateful and honoured to be selected as an international scholar of The Royal Ballet School. The Royal Ballet School is a dream school for me because it is a great academy with a very high level.
