Promotions for our alumni at English National Ballet

Congratulations to several of our alumni who have received promotions at English National Ballet this week.

Soloists

Julia Conway and Erik Woolhouse have both been promoted to Soloists in the company. Julia attended Upper School and joined the English National Ballet in 2017. Erik is originally from Tokyo and also attended Upper School. He joined the company in 2015.

First Artists

Rebecca Blenkinsop, Matthew Astley and Angela Wood have all been promoted to First Artists. Rebecca is from Australia and joined the English National Ballet in 2018. Matthew joined in 2017 and was a finalist of the Emerging Dancer 2022. Angela was also a finalist of the Emerging Dancer this year, having joined the company in 2010.
