‘I absolutely loved every minute’ — our first Autumn Intensives

During the October half term, we ran a series of new one-day regional courses for ballet students aged 11 to 14. Throughout the week, we taught classes to 281 students in London, Manchester, and Leeds. These courses were really special to us because they were non-selective (there’s no audition process, open to all dancers on a first come, first served basis), creating wider opportunities for young people to engage with our ballet training.

We ran three classes: applying body awareness to ballet technique, the foundations of technique, and the artistry of classical ballet, and were blown away by the dedication, enthusiasm, and attentiveness of the students who joined us.
